Hi I am Cam Sanders, a recent graduate of the Wayne State University where I received BA Journalism and an additional B.A. in Political Science. I was a member of the Journalism Institute for Media Diversity, an acclaimed learning community within Wayne State’s Journalism program to cultivate and promote journalism professionalism.
While in school I established NextGen America at Wayne State, an organization focusing on engaging and organizing young people politically. I also served two terms on Wayne Student Senate, as the College of Fine Performing and Communication Arts Representative, and worked as a contributing writer for the South End.
Professionally, I have skills in writing, editing, pitching, and organizing. I received these skills through my work on multiple political campaigns, in governmental entities, and as a political organizer. When not in school or working l I enjoy reading biographies and exploring the Greater Detroit area.
